Privacy Policy

Beacon is software operated by nAblement LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. This policy covers beacon.nablement.us and the Beacon service. Questions go to anagrath@nablement.us.

Account information. Your email address and sign-in credentials. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored in readable form.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers; we keep the subscription records Stripe returns (plan, status, billing dates).

Your site and its public presence.Beacon’s job is to read the public web presence of the domain you point it at: pages on your site, public pages that mention you, and the answers AI engines give about your market. That material is public by nature; we collect it to run the product for you.

Operational logs. Standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, request times) kept for security and debugging.

One cookie: an httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in. No analytics or advertising trackers load on this site, and nothing here follows you across the web.

We use a small set of processors, each for one job:

• Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Railway — application hosting.
• Google Workspace and Amazon SES — email we send you.
• AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) — Beacon queries these engines about your market and your public presence. What we send them is the questions your buyers would ask and public web content; never your credentials or billing details.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We keep your data while your account is active. Email us to close your account and we will delete the personal information we hold about you, minus what payment and tax rules require Stripe and us to retain.

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is limited to what operating the service requires.

Beacon is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 13.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the new effective date here and tell active customers by email.
